This is an international event on Indonesia seaweed, cottonii and Gracilaria, that are mostly sought in the world for the carrageenan and agar industry. The event is a 3-yearly event and will be held for the first time at Makassar in South Sulawesi that is the largest seaweed producer in Indonesia. For those that are interested to know more about the ISF, email to the organizing committee at aspperli@yahoo.co.id

The event will be held from October 27-30, 2008.
